Stillbirth & Miscarriage.

The loss of a baby in pregnancy or birth is significant and a deeply devasting experience for parents and families. If you are journeying through this as a bereaved mother or parent our thoughts are with you. The experience of losing a baby, either in miscarriage or still birth, affects each individual differently and can hold within it many different emotions.

At times this may feel overwhelming and mothers and partners may have different needs at various times. It is important that parents and family members know they can seek support to help process and navigate this tumultuous and challenging time. Often parents have questions or concerns about what to do next and where to seek support.

Please see below for a list of resources and organisations that can support parents and family through this journey.

Australia is one of the safest places in the world to give birth, yet six babies are stillborn here every day
